Deadline Extended

All our original tickets are gone, but we've bought more, bringing our total to 150.  Please first call Chuck Strain at 513-621-12889 to verify availability.  Then mail a check for $10 per person payable to Lawyers' Club—with your email address and phone—to P.O. Box 552, Cincinnati, OH 45201-0552. Kids 3 and under are free. Orders postmarked  before a super-secret arbitrary deadline will be rewarded with free bottled water and all-you-can-eat peanuts! Tickets will be handed out at your choice of three game-day meet-up times. (See below.)

Great American Ball Park Seats

Cheer with us in our seat block, the 10 seats closest to home plate in each of rows A through E in section 536 of the View Level. We've added more seats in the rows behind. That's the highest level, not quite all the way out the first base line. These seats went for no less than $14 in 2008, without Hall of Fame admission. This is a section that sells out quickly, because it's such a great deal. We were able to buy these two days before individual game tickets went on sale to the public, because we went through the group sales department and called within the first hour.  See the view from this section on an interactive seat map:

Reds Hall of Fame Museum Tickets Included !

We'll have three meet-up times at the front door of the Hall of Fame Museum, at 4:30, 5:30, and 7 pm. You may pick up your game and museum tickets then, and enter the museum anytime thereafter. The Hall of Fame remains open until 8 pm for those who don't mind missing the start of the game.

Ordinarily $10 for admission, the Hall of Fame has many nostalgic, stimulating, and interactive exhibits about Reds history. There's a brand-new special exhibit on The Big Red Machine, the Reds' greatest era. Website:

Three Meet-Up Times

Choose one of three game day meet-up times to pick up tickets and start your outing. Meet precisely at 4:30, 5:30, or 7 pm at the Johnny Bench statue in front of Nuxy's Entrance, under cover near the front door of the Reds Hall of Fame Museum, 100 Joe Nuxhall Way (the southern extension of Main Street), near the eastern terminus of Freedom Way, and just west of the Great American Ball Park. If you miss all three of these times, phone Chuck Strain at 513-621-2889 to arrange a personal rendezvous.

Smale Riverfront Park Tour

Meet at the Johnny Bench statue (see paragraph above) at 4:30 pm for a sneak preview group tour of Smale Riverfront Park. It's the dynamic new 45-acre "front door" of our city, located between the two stadiums. Here's the best website for park information, including an animated video fly-over tour:

Food

Besides the bottled water and all-you-can-eat peanuts supplied to those ordering tickets by Opening Day, you're on your own for food and drink. There are many attractive options:

  • Bring your own picnic food and eat in Smale Riverfront Park or Great American Ball Park. (Yes, you can carry in food and drink. See below.)

  • Eat at the Moerlein Lager House, a $10 million structure that opened on February 27:
    http://mysmaleriverfrontpark.org/moerlein-lager-house.htm

  • Eat at one of several new restaurants in The Banks, including the Holy Grail Tavern & Grille, Johnny Rockets Sports Bar, and Toby Keith's I Love this Bar.

  • Eat at one of the many restaurant outlets within GABP, including Skyline, La Rosa's, Penn Station, and Montgomery Inn. Or grab traditional ball park food, maybe from one of the two popular $1 menu snack stands between first base and right field, close to our seats. And you can buy from roving vendors.

Parking
  • Leave your car where it's already parked downtown, and walk. It's only 8 minutes from the Cincinnati Bar Association.

  • Snag a parking meter spot on or near Third Street for $2 per hour, but free after 5 pm. Note that many are off-limits from 4 to 6 pm.

  • Park in the P & G garage on Sixth Street, between Broadway and Sycamore, only $2 after 5 pm.

  • Park free in Covington or Newport and take the Southbank Shuttle. Try the free lot north of MainStrasse Village at Fifth and Bakewell Streets in Covington (or the nearby street parking). Or try the free lot east of Hooter's and west of the Big Mac Bridge, along Riverfront Row in Newport. The Southbank Shuttle costs $1 each way and runs every 15 minutes until midnight. Here's the map and schedule:

  • Park in various riverfront lots for $10 to $17. Here are official Reds parking tips:
